So I just drank a beer at a friend's house that I was pretty sure I already reviewed, but I wanted to double check. When I looked at the brewery's list of beers, I did not have a red check mark next to the beer name, nor was my rating score shown. But when I clicked on the beer page, I could indeed see my review and rating. My review is from about a year and a half ago, so shouldn't be an issue of waiting for an update. Something funky must be going on? Other beers I have reviewed from that brewery correctly show the check mark.

The beer in question is Lost Tavern Brewing, Winter Galley - Maple Bourbon Vanilla.

Screenshots of what I see are below:

No red check or score shown on the brewery beer list (highlighted for reference):

But the beer page shows that I have indeed reviewed and rated the beer:

I have noticed this before. In my case, the Collective Arts brewery page does not have a red check mark beside their Barrel-Aged Imperial Porter, even though I have reviewed it.

The beer in question previously had separate pages for each annual release, but at some point these 'vintages' were merged into one page. Might be a coincidence, but maybe not.

@thehyperduck basically nailed it. The current way that we track the beers that you've reviewed doesn't support merges, which is what happened here. Around 6 months after you made your review, duplicates were merged. And, as your personal tracking list doesn't get updated when this occurs, it's still associated with the old beer ID.

The only way to fix this would be to rebuild tracking lists for all associated users each time a beer is merged (not feasible right now) or create some functionality that would allow users to rebuild their lists as needed (probably the easiest solution) and make a note in the FAQ with a link to rebuild.
