Just snagged one of these today, my first ever, can't wait to try it, but I was wondering if anyone has experience aging it. I can't decide if I want to drink it now or save it. I was going to get 2, but it's $16.99 for 12 oz......

edit: oh drink it now! if youve never had it i recommend trying it fresh

about a year ago we drank an '09 genie bottle, '10, and fresh '11 side by side. The '10 & fresh '11 were both very nice, felt the '09 was thin and declining. So my plan forward is to only keep one for 12-18 months at most.

age is the last thing that beer needs. the vibrant sour cherry is the best part. that beer is like liquid sour cherries, it's awesome.

American sours don't age well period...there are extremely few exceptions to my statement so when in doubt drink it fresh unless it comes from Belgium. Then you can debate aging it or not.
