Just got back from Arrowhead Golf Club.

Half price draft. Both DJ and Red Skull were on draft.

Blew my mind how similar these two beers are.

Anyone know why, recipe knowledge anyone?

Same flavor is left on the palate.

DJ is higher gravity. Red Skull is obviously darker in color but I swear year two beers left the same taste on my palate.

DJ is a bit more bitter on the front of the tongue. I love DJ. It's the DIPA I compare all DIPAs to, but I say this without any confliction. Red Skull is a better beer. They leave an equal taste on the palate but the Red Skull is more drinkable with the lower ABV.

    Anyone have an opinion.

I just hope Revolution is smart enough to make this as often as they so Double Fist. In my opinion, it's better.

Mmk. Interested to see though, have you had them side by side?

For those who wonder, DJ is my measuring stick for DIPAs. My favorite year round DIPA on the market. It's what I compare everything to.
