Red Wing Wings and Brews Fest

Now that D-Spot will be there with their wings I am going for sure

 

I may have to tag along. I have flex time I can use now.....

 

D-Spot is outstanding.

And, I know they are going to be at the fest, but I really enjoyed visiting the Red Wing brewing company. Solid beer, great friendly environment.

 

Wow, why haven't I heard about this?? We'll have to go next year - my wife and I have a special place in our hearts for Red Wing, and a special place in our belly's for beer and wings, but we're expecting in late march.

 

Sounds like you have a sober cab and a pregnant woman gets to eat a ton of wings. Win win.

It was a fun atmosphere and pretty well organized. The four hours was plenty of time and I didn't feel rushed to try and make every booth. The wings were excellent but there were only 6 or so vendors so they were constantly running out and couldn't replenish fast enough. The beer scene was good but nobody brought anything special that I saw (at least not like ABR or a similar event). Lots of smaller breweries from the area were there though, which was cool. Everyone was very friendly and I don't think there was any flagrant assholery. Overall it was a fun time.
