Say what you will about Redhook, I will be excited to see what they produce here. Tough to do fun stuff on their 100 barrel system in Woodinville. http://www.washingtonbeerblog.com/redhook-brewery-opening-new-brewpub-seattle/
I still buy Elysian, GI Bourbon County, etc from time to time so I won't hate too hard. Not gonna be a regular watering hole but when in the area will give the beer a shot and the Brewers (soon to be Owners/Head Brewers elsewhere) respect if they put out something great. Still local Brewers and servers making a living.
That's very noble and all, but the way I see it is though you're supporting a "local" establishment and its employees the profits still go to AB/inbev. They use those profits to buy up hops/malt/barrels/shelf space etc which hurts the actual local breweries and their employees. Helping one to hurt a lot? No thanks. At least that's my perspective.
