two-four, rack, suitcase, flat .... all awesome Canadian slang for cases, more here (and other such for rural Maine and New Brunswick):
    http://www.dooryard.ca/two-four.html

Here in NY, a package store sells liquor and wine, not beer. Nobody calls it a "packie". Names like "packie" and "offie" are quintessential British way to create a nickname. Obviously this habit is more prevalent in NewEngland. In the link above there's mention of "agency stores" I believe in Canada. Whenever the law creates cold, meaningless categories, people will create warm, friendly nicknames to make it theirs.

Did anyone else ever hear or use the word "shoulder-tapping"? We used this to mean the act of finding/asking a stranger to get us beer before we were of age.

    Nothing crazy. Leinie's = Leinenkugel, cube = 30pk (occasionally 24).

We also love brandy, but that's more of a general alcohol habit than beer slang.

where i live in pa if you go to any bar and order lager, you get yuengling (someone mentioned this and it definitely still goes on). i work in a beer distributor (thats what we call them) and we just say the product name and then 30 or 24. then cans or bottles. in the case of the 18's which are 16oz cans we just say pounders.

    "30 Rack" - 30 pack
"Lets go down to Walmarts, get some Coronas" - Lets go get 3.2 Corona at Walmart.
"I literally can't even right now!" - I am a white girl who had three drinks and I'm feeling the effects of alcohol for the first time.
"Gimme a Bud Lights" - Hello there kind sir, could I please have a Bud Light?
    "Carone" - Corona
"This shit sucks!" - The IPA that you have kindly shared with me is far too flavorful for my American light lager palate.
"I don't like dark beers" - I drank a Guinness once to try and fit in, and I did not enjoy the experience at all.

Around here, a "flat" is the open top cardboard tray that cans come on (in?), either 12 or 16oz. If the 24 cans are in an enclosed case, that's a case. Example: 1 local college idiot to another at the Up&Up at last call; Dude we better grab a flat to take with.

You can still get away with ordering a "Lager" at some divey, craft-unfriendly bars. But you're right, those kinds of bars are slowing coming around to adding craft to their taplists.

What about Mickey's hand grenades?! Good old days of chugging them, launching them into the field and running before the cops caught you.

In college, we called Budweiser "Diesel."

We also had a huge beer bong made with a giant orange funnel and black tubing. It was donned the Trick-or-Treater due to its color combination. This eventually got shortened to the "Trerder" (yeah, you were supposed to sound like a drunken idiot when you said it, and the abbreviation probably happened when someone drunkenly tried saying "Trick-or-Treater" and it came out in a funny sounding condensed version).

"Give me the Trerder, I'm gonna bong a Diesel!"

We did all kinds of stupid shit.

I had never heard of Party Store until I was in Michigan this past August.

When I saw this thread, "party store" was the first thing I thought of.

Which one is which though? Leaded is the original (Bud), but it is also worse for the environment and starts with an L (Bud Light). Unleaded is an improvement on gas and better for the environment (Bud), but things have been taken out of it (Bud Light). So, you could rationalize them either way.

This is indeed a Massachusetts term. It is a result of the centuries old, Massachusetts "blue laws" - you can either buy alcohol in a glass at a bar/restaurant or in a bottle from a retail store - "packie". If you buy alcohol in a bottle at a retail store, it must be packaged in a box or bag - no nude bottles can legally leave the store- hence "package store" from whence "packie" (cf Dunkin' Donuts becomes "Dunkies").
