My favorite one that might actually be specific to Minnesota is the "dirty thirty", which refers to a 30 pack of Hamm's.

Not regional but personal slang. I call any venture out of the house to buy beer, food, clothing, a newspaper, appliances, furniture or whatever is called "hunting and gathering". Its meaning hasn't changed since the caveman.

And in case anybody didn't add - a brick was a college term for a kilo of weed.

Been in the distro business around the country:

I like the more regional ones like pounders, packies, suitcases, flats, slants, etc. My favorite is one you hear in Chicago sometimes for anything from the Red Stripe or Mickeys bottles to the squat Sierra Nevada/Lagunitas bottles - 'Choads'.

Kegs have a ton of slang that can make things a mess:

    1/6bbl - 6th, sixtel, 5 gallon, sixer, quarter-barrel, pony, slim
    1/4bbl - quarter-barrel, pony, short, slim, half-barrel
    1/2bbl - barrel, half-barrel

Factor in how some people order 'keg' and 'case' or 'bottle' and 'barrel'. Leave those messages on a scratchy voicemail and you get a ton of mistakes in the order.

My favorite are the nicknames/hilarious mispronunciations invented by ESL buyers:

Caguama - Mexican beer in 32oz/40s
    Bote - Can
Micky's Lemon - Mikes Hard Lemonade
    Blue Robin/Blue Rubberband - PBR
    Pollie Ollie - SNPA
    Eepa - IPA
    Blue Bull - Schlitz
    Lachunta/Lawintas/etc. - Lagunitas
    Pint - 22oz, 24oz, 25oz, 32oz, 40oz. Literally anything larger than 16 ounces.
    Gennessy - Guinness

Just a few off the top of my head, but there are hundreds.

Two-Four is my favourite. A long weekend, especially those in the summer are called two-four weekends, because that's how much beer you would consume over the holiday.

In the Seattle area, we used to call the 40's of Mickey's torpedoes. Hand grenades and torpedoes. Mickey's slang.

In Hawaii, we used to call Heinekin 'greenies'. Two sixers of greenies was instant invite to any home luau.

Suds? I remember, a long time ago, we used to use the word 'suds' for beer. Damn I am getting old............

In college (in California, but kids from all across the country [and globe for that matter, but... irrelevant]) there were 30-racks or the 36s were sometimes referred to as cubes. Like, "Yo, let's each kill a cube and we have to sleep wherever we drink the last one!"

Turns out the announcers box at the stadium is cold as shit at about 4am

Bombers, 22s, tall boys, Growlers, liquor store, booz-atory, etc
