?

Do you think having dedicated Moderators for the Regional Forums would improve those Sub Forums?

I'm not positive if this counts as a feature request but I frequently see multiple threads on similar topics, threads drifting off the original topics for pages, people posting numerous threads about visiting the same city's and getting the same suggestions or linked to other threads on the same topic etc. in the regional forums but specifically The Great Lakes forum.

I'm curious if it's feasible or even wise to maybe have "Regional Mods". One or Two BA's who live in the corresponding region and frequent the boards to moderate it (especially the heavily trafficked ones like GL) and even limiting their mod privileges to the specific forum. It just seems like the regular moderators don't frequent these forums enough, I could be wrong though.

In theory it would improve those forums and make it easier to find the information people usually are trying to find out but can't and just end up starting a new thread instead.

I believe we already have them. At least we have one in the NW sector.
