Regional Forum Sticky Recommendations

    there are currently 3 of these threads on the first page of the NE forum (one of which has descended into open mockery of the poster, suggesting dive bars with shit taps). at least another 5 on general NE trips on the next couple pages. and they pop up constantly.

    I know this isn't specific to the NE forum either, most of the local forums have these recurring questions.

    is there any way to just get a sticky at the top of the page with a curated (and updated) list of suggestions? I get asking questions of locals, but some of these questions are so completely lazy for lack of searching the forums and reviews. specific questions that aren't readily found, cool, but can we get some kind of posting policy that requires a teensy modicum of individual research before asking posters to rehash the same damn recommendations 3xweek?

    This has been requested before.

    We have no plans of adding biased, user recommendations/discussions as sticky posts to the regional forums, however, we are working on solutions for the site redesign.
