I have seen people post in the forums that the regular Abraxas is not that hard to find. However the description for 2012 says there is only 200 cases. Anyone have insight as to how available this was in distribution last year?

Not sure about outside of STL but I remember going and buying as much as I wanted 3-4 months after the release from the brewery

That was the first release I think. This past year there was a 2 bottle limit at lukas/friars/and twcp. Most were sold out in a few days. Atleast thats what I remember.

I think that when it first hit the market, most people had a hard time spending 20 on a bottle from a brewery that was relatively new. I could be wrong completely though

Agreed. Stores will sell out fairly quickly but the brewery will have it around for a bit. Not sure on batch sizes or how many batches this year. I'm just looking forward to getting my Sump Coffee Abraxas

No, I'm positive I went to the brewery and picked a case up in 2013

My local bottle shop still has a couple of them 10 months after they hit the shelves. Prob because they are charging $26 a bottle

it's def worth the $20 (at least when i had it fresh in Jan)--$26 is price gouging and i refuse to buy it

I think it's better than Huna... but as you said, to each their own.

I think both Huna and Abraxas are a bit too expensive.

I feel like a lot of beers are too expensive, yet I still buy them....
