Hey guys, wondering if anyone has experience using a taprite dual gauge regulator?

i recently bought a co2 leak stopper that attaches to the tank from adventures in homebrewing and it worked great but now after I got a refill it keeps leaking gas. I was wondering is it safe to pair that leak stopper on the tank along with a rubber washer on the regulator?

If I had a leak with the AIH "leak stopper" thing, I reckon I wouldn't use it at all, which brings us to the Taprite, which probably has the love it/hate it Taprite "permanent seal." Those seals are replaceable (but a bit of a PITA to install). In a pinch (or until you can get a replacement seal), the standard nylon gaskets, like this...

That Permanent Leak Stopper... it's not permanent and it does not stop leaks.
Get rid of it. Seriously. It's not something anyone needs. If your regulator leaks at the seal you need to fix the seal at the regulator.

Do what @VikeMan advises and get yourself some nylon washers. Also, be sure that you crank down on the nut until it will not tighten even a bit. The seal has to be very tight. If you can still turn the nut, it's not tight enough.
    Cheers

Thanks guys, I did see that they make a mention of it being a permanent seal since it attaches to the tank, is it in fact permanent and not come off?, don’t really wanna fiddle with trying to take it off if it can’t especially with a full tank, seems kinda dangerous.

You uninstall it the same way you installed it; with a hex wrench. There's nothing dangerous about it. But shut off the gas cylinder first.
