I'll be in Rehoboth tonight until Thursday morning. I plan on going to the DFH brewpub tomorrow night. Any good bottle shops or bars in the area?

I will have a car but not much time to travel out of the area.

Henlopen City Oyster House on Wilmington Ave (one block parallel to Rehoboth Ave) has a nice craft draft and bottle selection. Usually there is something from 3 Fonteinen or Cantillon on the bottle list to buy (ask about Cantillon, sometimes they do not print it). Also for drafts, Pig + Fish on Rehoboth Ave is walking distance. Their other restaurant, Pickled Pig, is out on Route 1, about a 10 minute drive. Also there is Atlantic Liquors which has a pretty decent selection (bottles) for the area. You can also take the 45 minute-ish drive down to Burley Oak in Berlin, MD which I would highly suggest if you can. I really love that place.

EDIT: Just FYI for Henlopen I have only drank-in from their bottle list. Not sure if you can buy to-go.

I 'll add Henlopen Oyster as a fantastic place to go, there are many shops along Rt. 1 depending on which direction you are coming from you should check them all out if you have time, Atlantic, Outlet, and Cape Wine & Sprits just outside Lewes.

They tend to stock much of the same things, but the selection can really vary between them at times. Happy shopping.

Dewey Brewing Co just opened... 5 min drive. Decent beers and good food.

Henlopen is good, We always hit Atlantic Liquors too. Burley Oak is good, but might be more of a drive then you'd want to do on your short time.

I went to Henlopen yesterday afternoon with the little free time I had. Had 2 dozen oysters by myself (fucking fantastic) and several good beers including prairie bomb and drie fonteinen oude gueuze.

Thanks for the suggestion guys! Will definitely recommend this to anyone who visits the area.

If you're into oysters, also hit up Fins on Rehoboth Ave., they will have different oysters than HCOH, just as good, and they have some nice taps.
