Release this week in VA?

    Anybody know if H&W is dropping KBS this week? I would think it's about that time.

    Heard it would be making a brief appearance up here in Richmond this week and the case numbers are shy of last years. I can only hope I get a four pack.

    Jason at the Vienna Whole Foods told me last Friday that the KBS should arrive this coming Thursday. He doesn't know his allotment yet. He's thinking about having a two-bottle limit, but it will depend on how much KBS he gets.

    Richmond should get it Tuesday.
    have also heard slightly reduced allocation #s as well...

    Any sightings around the VaBeach/Chesapeake/Norfolk area? I've honestly never had it and would like to try it.

    I was a lucky soul that happened to swing by the total wine in the west end when they opened this morning at 10 and grab a four pack.

    Apparently only 10-15 cases hit the Central VA area. So make sure wherever you go to look you go early, as it will be limited. Though I was able to drink a couple bottles at a local bar tonight, not too high above retail and they were delicious. Hanzo, if you don't find any, I will bring one of my two bottles to a future tasting if we ever figure that out. Good luck and Cheers!

    I'm going to stop by Total Wine at lunch, my contact there said she wasn't sure if they were getting any which isn't a good sign. And that would be awesome Shilt as I'd certainly like to try it.

    All the total wines in SE virginia got a case of CBS, so I'm pretty sure they'll at least get SOME kbs. Depending on what store you go to, lunchtime might be too early, might be just right, sometimes the stars just have to align for these things. If they haven't gotten the shipment yet ,you might want to wait around a little, but that's usually the timeframe for delivery on the southside.

    Yeah I know have name dropped G&G over the unholy abomination that is Total Wine, but I know they usually reserve stuff like this for people. I just figured he would have a better chance at TW. Not saying he couldn't get some from G&G, but i know all their CBS was set aside for their regs. And that's cool, you should reward your loyal customers!
