Releases expected in July

Wow! Interesting, that gives me a real good idea thanks. Might have to pass on this one, not into that sweet and fruity beers at the moment.

 

I'm down to try Rubaeus, I know the Mrs. will love it.

I didn't know it was a 6er, Thought is was a 4 - Why the fuck is there a 2 bottle limit at Spec's?!

I might try to track and some down after work tomorrow but it'll prolly be gone by then (5pm)

 

its a 4 pack. there was only a 1-4pack limit at specs san antonio friday. its good, kind of a fruity sour. but yeah at 5.7%. I really liked it. Not my favorite but glad I bought it.

 

Maybe TX didn't get a whole lot. Them 'uppers probably thought that Texans don't want that fruity nonsense.

 

Nothing like a sour. don't waste your money on it. no tartness. the guy that said think lindemanns was spot on. sweet fruity nonsense.

 

This. Got 1 bottle today. Never again. I will say it's less sweet than LF. A touch of tartness in the aftertaste, but not puckering in the least bit.

 

Picked up one earlier today to test the hypothesis: $4.41 a pop?! Really?!

4 Pack of Devil Dancer was 19.99!

 

3.49 at Whole Foods. It rang up as Double Trouble (same SKU). 11.99 for a 4-pack, iirc.

This beer... just has nothing going on. It's less fun to drink than a wine cooler.

 

Anyone know where in DFW has Devil Dancer or Rubaeus in Dallas? Kegs & Barrel said not yet, I haven't seen lonestar post about it, I only heard Devil Dancer made it S&K but thats it. Anyone hear anything else?

I just quickly scanned two pages of this thread, and only two things come to mind: 1) Rubaeus is not limited; b) fruit beers are not necessarily sour and sour beers are not necessarily fruity. And brett doesn't make a beer sour, but that's neither here nor there, and has nothing to do with this thread... yet.

 

I met a friend at Spec's Midtown today to swap a couple bottles and would have maybe bought the new Founders beers but since they were hiding in the back I couldn't be arsed to ask somebody.

 

Any limits Spec's can do on Rubaeus is doing you guys a favor.

Devil Dancer... where art thou in Austin? I want a 4-pack of that. That beer is the shiz. I also like 120.

I'd actually like to get 2 4-packs of that and send one to my dad who would absolutely love it.

E1G should have it sometime this week. I usually only go to Spec's for lunch.
