Hi. I heard a hissing in my fridge and eventually found that it's coming from the base of the relief valve of a keg.

The valve is the kind where you lift a tab/lever as opposed to a metal ring. There's a nut-type thing on the bottom of the lid (the inside of the keg), but I can't figure out how to take it apart to see why it's leaking.

The hissing is coming from the base of the "housing", where the raised area meets the flat part of the lid.

How do I take this apart, and once I do, how do I figure out what needs to be replaced? Will it take the same parts as my other kegs (which all have the metal ring pull tab). Beer is already in the keg, gelatin has been added, and it's been under pressure for a day.

The hissing is evident at 10psi, preventing me from force carbonating the beer. But that also means it might leak at lower pressures, I just can't hear it. Or it might be too slow to create bubbles when I put some star san on it.

Thoughts? I tried calling Midwest (where I got it from), but they closed 40 min early.

    Thanks.
P.S.: I have a picture if you want to see it, I can't figure out how to attach it (image URL? it's on my iPhotos, what URL?)

I was able to get the nut loose on the bottom of the lid. I put on some keg lube and refastened it super tight. So far so good...
