I would probably move back to Grand Rapids MI

The South isn't my favorite region in the country, but I'm content with the beer selection I have in Alabama right now, which is only going to keep expanding with all these fucking laws getting tossed out of the way. The craft scene here is exploding right now and I want to see where it goes.

After traveling there last weekend, I can definitely see myself ending up in Vermont.

I'm stoked to see that most folks so far are more excited about their local beer scene than succumbing to a "grass is greener" mentality. Of course, living in Portland makes that easy for me. If I had to mention other places I'd like to be, I do miss easy access to Founders from my days in grad school, and I've enjoyed everything I've had from Cigar City when visiting the folks in Florida, so maybe someplace that gets both? Nah, I'm pretty happy where I am. Who in their right mind would give up access to HotD, Commons, Breakside, Boneyard, Crux, De Garde, etc.?

There is a burgeoning local scene here that I wouldn't trade being a part of unless it were to live next door to Boneyard in Oregon, or move to Belgium.

7 years and 3 months. DTW to PDX. I love Michigan, and all she has to offer. However, Portland captured my heart. Add in the fact that there are like 41 Breweries inside the city limits, well that's where I'll be.

Back to somewhere in upstate NY. Close enough to the local scene, but also close enough to make quick weekend trips to Vermont, NYC, and Boston to visit friends, family, and to beverage.

San Diego intrigues me. Seems to have a great beer scene, terrific weather, and the cost of living/traffic can't be any worse than northern VA.

The weather sucks in Vermont, Michigan, Colorado in the winter, the San Fran bay area, Bend, and Portland. The answer is San Diego.

I've always wanted to make the move west when I finish college to Southern Cali. Not only for the beer, but for obviously everything else they have there...and also the beer is fucking awesome.

The weather in San Diego sucks. I can't think of anything more depressing than living in a climate where it doesn't snow.

If I was living solely for beer, probably Chicago.
    <------- (guess why)
That being said, I'm a total NY'er.... and proud of our frenetic city. We have more beer options (also food, shopping, entertainment...) than most people have, so I truly can't complain.

Not to mention our pizza rocks. And honestly, that has to count for something when we discuss drinking beer

I'm outside of Philly and love the beer scene here. I wouldn't relocate full time for beer, but it might have influenced my decision to buy a rental property in Northern Vermont! It's amazing how often I have to go up there to work on the place...

I would say Vermont but it gets too cold. My answer is San Diego, see you in 4 months.

Honestly, if Cali doesn't work out, I may try Ashville until finally accepting I should just move to Philly.

Fort Collins. I love the town and it has more great beer than any city/town in the country for its size.

I wouldn't dream of leaving Colorado.
