I'd be lying if I said that part of going into nursing wasn't the opportunity to be mobile. Now, that's largely just because I've got the wanderlust and want to see as much of the country (and world) as possible before settling down, but you best believe that beer options will likely play into my decisions on where is included on those stops...

All the more reason to stay inside and drink good beer.

I actually like snow even though I do no real outside activities with it, besides a spot of ice fishing now and again. I'm Canadian, I'm used to it.

Boston has treated me well. I'd Def consider San Francisco, San Diego, Brussels or somewhere in Germany.

Portland. There's a new bottle shop every week not to mention the breweries and bottles that are fresh from the west/west coast. Can't get foreign beers that aren't obvious, but Prost is an amazing German pub that does it right.

Only way I could afford a decadent craft beer lifestyle across the border in San Diego.

For a New Yorker, Philadephia was amazing. Monk's Cafe, amazing beer stores where you can drink without bottling fees, selections including what we have plus Bell's, Great Lakes, Deschuttes, Port, Lost Abbey, even Russian River.

idk man Epic and Unita are both killing it. BBB and labyrinth have been two of the best beers I have had this year.

As a SoCal kid, born and raised, who currently goes to school in New England, I can say that NE is GORGEOUS, and seasons are quite the interesting phenomenon. I have thoroughly enjoyed leaving the bubble of SoCal and going somewhere new.....NE is quaint, colonial, and gorgeous - an incredible place fasho. Fall is quite a fantastic thing....never really experienced it before. All of this said, I still would return to cali after college. You can take the boy outa cali, but you can't take the cali out of the boy. Hoooooray for stereotypes. 60-85 degrees year round, great waves, great skiing, and the chillest culture around..........well shit you can't ask for much more.

But then again I'ma cry my eyes out when I can't get HT or HF on a whim anymore :slight_frown:

    Anywhere? Completely unrealistically? Belgium.

More realistically? Denver. Really love the vibe of their scene there.

I'd say Michigan or New England. Michigan has great breweries and is close enough to other hot spots in the Midwest. My favorite part of the country by far is New England, no particular state, just that area in general. I once did a 10-day road trip through the back roads of New England during Fall Foliage. I can't tell you how much I loved it. Now that I'm into craft beers, no matter where in New England I choose, I'll be close enough to rural Vermont.

Agreed - there have been a couple of occasions where my wife or I have had opportunities to move but we reconsidered at least in part based on a dearth of beer in the target location. It's one of the first things I look into when a remote job opportunity presents itself.

Stayin' put, myself. I wouldn't mind revisiting my roots in North Carolina though.

I'm content in Minneapolis so, would I move just for beer? No, however, if I got a job in another area I wouldn't oppose a move to Chicago or North Carolina

New Jersey actually has some decent distribution. We do get a lot of good stuff here. If only Bell's started distributing here, I'd be set. It also wouldn't hurt to have more local microbreweries around here. I mean we do have Kane and Carton, but we definitely need more.

If I had to pick another location, I'd choose Vermont for sure. That place is a beer gold mine.

Live in San Diego now. If beer was the only motivation, I would stay here (planning to move away though).

I currently live in Chicago and there are great breweries here. I am probably biased but I believe the Midwest puts out some of the best craft brews in the country. I would probably stay here if given the option, but I would venture to Colorado if I had to relocate somewhere new. If I had to leave the country then Canada (not a fan of long plane rides, ha!)
