    Exactly right in my opinion.

In the past the offerings weren't as good and the standards were low, so it was easy to be impressed and hard to disappoint.

Today the offerings already on the shelf are far better and so the standards are high, so therefore now it's rather easy to be disappointed and hard to impress.

Maybe 8 yrs ago, I used to think Blue Moon was THE beer. The best craft beer there ever was (I'm not implying it's craft). Boy have I changed.......

Eh, the bar may have been lower but disappointing is absolute, at least for me.

It may take more to wow me now, but Im not disappointed by mediocre beer. Im disappointed by bad beer.

I guess there was a time when not much disappointed me because I just didnt know any better, but that time didnt last for long.

Looks like you're fucking clueless, so I'll elaborate. Back before there was BA, late 90's I believe, sounds right anyway, blue moon started selling their wares next to NB, SN, and other craft beers. I was under the impression that it was craft beer. It tasted like it, and it was a far cry from what coors was putting out at the time. However this was before things like ba were around, and you had to do some digging to find out who owned what, there wasn't a bunch of assholes who felt it was their job to be beer ****s around to correct the common misconception that blue moon was craft beer. Do you get it yet? Or do I need to get hand puppets out?

wow, it must be hard for you to find good beers with all the terrible beers being brewed. this is a terrible beer landscape indeed. i hope that some day the beers, and people, will meet your standards

I get that you dont know what you wrote above, so I will repeat it:

"I remember when blue moon WAS a craft beer."

It never WAS a craft beer. You may have thought it was, it may have been shelved with craft, Coors may have hid it well, but it never WAS.

Facts dont change because we dont understand them.

Or to put it in song form (from 1992): "the truth is just what it simply is."
