Hey, I'm kinda surprised that I haven't been able to find this question asked, but how do you mix in the remnants that settle at the bottom of an aged beer? I just picked up a 4pk of PT5th, drank one only to find a thick layer of good stuff at the bottom... :slight_frown: Oh the wasted taste! I would have loved to mix this in, but what do you do, shake the thang?
Any help would be appreciated, since I would love to age some other beer that I have, so I'm sure this will come up again.
    Thanks!

if you already drank the beer, just pour some of the next one in the bottle and swirl, pour that into a glass and pour the rest of the new beer.

Well, I would LOVE to taste this these the way they made them. Seems as though if I did that, it would basically add the settled ingredients into another bottle therefore changing the taste. Hmmm, I did rinse the bottle out also... I may just have to keep tipping the bottle back and forth till I see the settled ingredients are gone. I just wondered how others have done it.
    Thanks for the info!

maybe try rolling it on its side on a counter. that way it won't get shaken up but will pull the sediment off the bottom
