I have been going back through my own reviews since the change and deleting out a few of them I felt were not helpful and didn't meet the criteria for a review. If the review was less than 150 characters I was leaving them in as personal notes (thinking they wouldn't count anyway) but then noticed this:

I had scribbled a few notes, a while back, not enough to count as a review - but the system looks like it is telling me it does count. Is that correct?

It's a bug when loading in a previous rating with text that's not 150 or more chars. Confirmed it.

It's not being counted, but @Mike will need to adjust the code so that the reflects this. Thanks.

    No worries. thanks!

I also noticed that as I am going through and deleting my own crappy reviews, some of them stick around and don't delete. I edit my review, don't change any scores, and just delete out the text and re-submit, and when I go back and look at the page again later, my old review is still there.

Do changes like this need to be approved? All I am trying to do is clean up my own reviews to make sure any that are over 150 are actually decent and constructive - I have a handful that really shouldn't be counting, so I figured the easiest way to fix was delete the words so it wouldn't count, but it doesn't seem to be working

Confirmed. I'm not sure if it's related to this update, but this is another bug that @Mike will need to look at.

Going forward, please post bugs in Help > Site with the Bug prefix so we can better track and address them. Thanks.
