Im pretty sure if there is no feedback after 30 days the trade is deleted, not 100% sure about the 30 day # but im sure @F2brewers knows.
So far as I know, @Todd hasn't implemented those changes just yet. I've got a trade that's been open since April where I provided feedback and my trade partner (despite receiving his box) did not. He hasn't logged on since late May and I don't expect him to do so anytime soon.
