It's been about three years since I've been to Reno for a beer/day trip. Hope to be up there next weekend for a day. I have been to Silver Peak and Great Basin but it's been a while. Perusing BA, I see that there are a couple new-ish spots, Brasserie St. James and The Brewer's Cabinet. Any other beer spots in the area that I'm missing? Also, are any beer spots in Reno dog-friendly (outdoor patio/seating area) as we may have a dog with us. Any other tips on beer spots in the general area are appreciated as well. Actually, might as well ask about South Lake Tahoe as well as I'll be up there in about three weeks. Good spots to hit in South Lake? Thanks.
I think the original Silver Peak location might be dog friendly on their patio. Brewer's Cabinet has a patio too. I'd probably call and check. I liked Brewer's Cabinet when I went last fall, they had a nice guest tap list, and the beers I tried of theirs were decent.
