I have a corny keg with bad threads on the keg itself (where the posts screw on to the keg)

I would like to remove the old one and weld on a new one and I was wondering if anyone could point me to where i could find spare parts like that??

Thanks thats exactly what I was looking for!

I'll do the welding myself so Im not too worried about the cost

As to recutting threads I did think about that, but the thread pitch is an odd one and I didnt feel like shelling out for a die that wouldnt end up doing the trick

This route also has me thinking about putting a 4" triclamp on top of a sankey keg and putting ball lock posts on the triclamp cap so I can have a 15gal homebrew keg!

Is that something that can be soldered, or are you looking at wearing the welding mask?

Im guessing you were asking me?

If so, yes I will be tigging the pieces on. I think you maybe able to solder it on (4" triclamp), but I'd think it would be difficult to dimple a hole that big

I misunderstood your comment. I thought you were looking for a way to use your ball lock couplers on a commercial keg.
    Never mind!
