Well, weeks back, I remember reading this thread in shock and horror, marveling at all the senseless porch violence and havoc being wrought around the country by this infamous BA. I had a few irrational sleepless nights thinking I might be a victim but eventually I settled back down and got on with life as usual. Then, yesterday, I received a call from my shipping guy at work saying there was a package for me. I thought nothing of it since I was expecting a delivery from another BA which I'd been tracking online. I got back to the dock and to my surprise there were two boxes! I didn't recognize one of the addresses and was curious. I opened it up and found an unusual letter from Nick / @PA-Michigander saying he was completing a trade from another BA. NO!!!
A little back story - A generous BA, @MOVERTON1284 wanted to send me a bottle for Xmas. It wasn't a trade; it was just a gift/thank you beer. Fedex lost, destroyed or delivered to the wrong address and I never saw the package. I thanked him for his kind gesture and told him not to worry about it (he wanted to send another but he only had one bottle) as it was the thought that counted. He reached out to the scoundrel Nick and arranged to have him send me the beer along with a ton of extras. These are two generous, righteous guys and I can't thank them both enough. It's these kinds of things that pop up once in a while around here that keep me trading, chatting and generally being a part of the community even in the midst of all the bad trader and counterfeit threads that seem to pop up so regularly. I plan to pay it forward in kind and to pay back @PA-Michigander at a future unspecified time.
Pardon my lack of brevity. I just wanted everyone to be aware that this individual is still on the loose and up to his old tricks.

And just to clarify it was not coordinated on my part. I was searching with buddies locally for a replacement WB 4th Anniversary to send @Bunuelian since FedEx decide to drink or sell his beer. I happened to post in once of the many "screwed by FedEx threads". Right away @PA-Michigander messaged me and said he had an extra and would send it. I had only met him the week before because I porch bombed him on behalf of a regular trader, and total badass porch bomber @Justdoit1234

Overall, I can't saw enough about the awesome people I have met through trading on this site. Cheers.

Back on Dec 23rd @PA-Michigander stayed at my house for a beer tasting for the night. Of course I let him stay in our guest room for the nightt. The next morning I shook his hand and he left into the sunset (Michigan) I went up to see if I needed to tend to the guest room. And you know what!....he guest bedroom bomb it and THEN made the bed.

Stuff of legends I tell ya...

Just a heads up to everyone -- definitely don't randomly message @dmbforever, seeing if he has any Central Waters Brewers Reseve stuff laying around. He'll tell you that he'd love to help out but that he's just super busy at the moment and to connect with him in a couple weeks. You'll thank him for his time and tell him you'll check back. You'll get busy and forget about it, going about your merry way. Then, one day, you'll get a random package on your porch with the whole mix of 'em laying inside -- including some 2011 and 2012 vintages. I just don't want anyone else to suffer this terrible, awful fate. Be forewarned.
