First off, a big thanks to @Shagator, @bradfordjohnson, and @Nolen12 for donating bottles to this LIF.

If you guys aren't familiar with ISIS/ISIL in the Middle East and their atrocities, please do a quick Google or Wikipedia search and glean some information. I won't dare post pictures, even though they are going to be more compelling than anything you can read, but understand that this terrorist organization is a barbaric group of monsters. They are systematically taking over towns by force and executing innocent people in the most gruesome manner possible, men, women, AND children. Anyone who knows me on here knows I'm a smartass all the time and rarely serious, but I'm being serious for this.

The continued ISIL advancement has displaced thousands of refugees who are without food, water, and medical aid and they are suffering all while trying to escape certain death. Our country has dropped bombs to stall the ISIL advancement but they've admitted it won't stop the terrorist group and we aren't ready to send troops yet. This isn't a political statement, I'm stating this as a point because there are people ready to go over there NOW and help immediately, ONLY because they've seen the atrocities first hand, and I want to help those people.

Enter DVM D.A.R.T. (Disaster Aid Rescue Team). They are a group of ex-military and contractors that have extensive experience serving and working in these affected areas and they are ready to go back and help immediately. They are also all paying their own way out of pocket to make sure it happens, all they need is money to help the displaced innocents to provide food, water, and medical aid. Basically, every dollar they get goes directly to help an individual in need, none of it goes in anyone's pocket. They're putting their lives at risk to help those unfortunate people because it needs to be done, period. They've teamed up with a close friend of mine who runs La Cima World Missions to help raise funds for their mission and I'd like to offer a lending hand. I've seen what this community can do and these people deserve our help.

This is going to be a raffle style LIF: every $5 donated is an entry into the raffle. This is going to be a short LIF, ONLY 14 DAYS LONG. The Holocaust over there is happening in real time and these guys need to go ASAP so they don't have a lot of time to waste. I can't give specifics on actual dates or time periods for obvious safety reasons, but I figure we can do some good in 2 weeks. I've backed off from trading the past year so my cellar is running thin, but I've put up every decent bottle I have left, along with some generous donations from @Shagator who threw in 3 bottles, @bradfordjohnson who contributed 2 more, and @Nolen12 who also contributed one of his own. Each one of these guys has gone out of their way to help me here and multiple other times as well, anyone would do good to trade with them. Thanks again guys!

To enter, visit the La Cima link here (http://www.lacimaworldmissions.org/donations/) and click on the PayPal donations button. Again, every $5 you donate equals one entry, so if you donate $50, you get 10 entries. When you make your donation, there will be an option to "Add special instructions to the seller"
Be sure to click that and type in "BEERADVOCATE" followed by your username (ex.: BEERADVOCATE:TheBeerAlmanac). Be sure to use all caps for "BEERADVOCATE" so it doesn't get lost in the other donations, and be sure to include this since this is how I'm keeping up with entries. Also, send me a quick BM once you've donated along with your amount so I can cross reference it with La Cima Missions.

The bottles are going to be awarded to winners in a prize pool fashion. There are a list of 11 bottles available, the first winner will get to pick 4 of their choosing, the second winner will get to pick the next 4, and the third place winner will get the final remaining 3. Here's what's available:

Against The Grain Bo & Luke (x2)
    Cantillon Cuvee Des Champions '13
    Cantillon Vigneronne '13
    Drie Fonteinen Oude Kriek '12
    GI Bourbon County Backyard Rye
GI Bourbon County Brand Stout/Barleywine/Coffee Stout (these three bottles will count as one)
    Olde Hickory Event Horizon
    Stone Wootstout 2.0 (x2)
    The Bruery Sucre Bourbon Barrel

Guys, I don't care what religion you are or what political belief you hold or even if you don't believe in religion OR politics, you are a human being and you don't want other human beings to be robbed of their freedom and their lives, especially defenseless human beings like 2 year old babies that were born into a situation they had no control of and haven't had a chance to live. There are lots of great causes out there that do a lot of good, this happens to be one that can do IMMEDIATE good and literally save people's lives RIGHT NOW, not from a disease but from other ruthless people. If you have any questions on any of this stuff, shoot me a BM. Here's a link on the DVM D.A.R.T. initiative for more information:

Thank you to everyone who donates!

Not only is this a great cause, but La Cima World Mission is a 501(c)(3) non-profit so your donations are tax deductible. Don't hold back people!

Big ups to the people adding boxes to better everyone's chances of winning. It's great to see everyone come together and not bicker over politics or religion. It's about lives.

By the way, can anyone advise a method on getting the OP updated to reflect the full lineup of bottles? I messaged a mod but didn't get a response and I'm not sure how else to do it...?

I think that you just keep adding a new post to this thread with updated bottles (it also provides nice bumps).

Alright I love adding boxes to things I find worthwhile, which this certainly is, regardless of your political/religious belief.

However I hate adding things that don't bring anything to the table.

I will add a box for this cause if five people like this post. It will be a Spring House box to include Big Gruesome, Lil Gruesome and at least three other bottles which MAY include a BA bottle.

Keep on keeping on @TheBeerAlmanac good thing you are doing here.

Well much better received than I expected. @TheBeerAlmanac I will send a box of Spring House to a winner. I'd prefer not breaking it up so I can just send one box to one person however you deem it fit.

    Donate often and heavily folks!

Thanks a ton man, you are appreciated! The generosity of the guys around here never ceases to amaze me. Also, @Shagator has benevolently put up a KBS and Black Note ON TOP of the bottles he already donated in the beginning, that means 7 names will be drawn to win bottles now!

In the same spirit of @PA-Michigander the JK & CS beers I am putting up will go in a 6-shipper to one winner, not wanting to split to multiple winners, just FYI.
