Resignation: neurology

    Dear fellow Beer Advocates,

    I have recently been diagnosed with an somewhat rare neurological disorder that does not have a cure. My team of neurologists have told that I cannot drink alcohol anymore. I will therefore be resigning as a member of BeerAdvocate. It has been a pleasure talking with you all over the past few years. I will be following up with some literature to help raise awareness. Please don't hesitate to message me if you have any questions about this matter.

    If I owe you beer, I will still be sending it. I will be keeping my account active for the next few months to ensure that all the outstanding trades are completed successfully.

    My condolences to you as I wish you and your family strength, peace, love, hope and optimistic perseverance. And yes, I would very much love to see whatever literature and information you have on your condition, as raising awareness can only be good.

    Thank you so much, everyone! Fortunately, it isn't deadly but it will effect quality of life. Below is a link to a reputable organization for Dystonia (what I have). At this junction, it effects my right side, but there is no way to tell how it will progress. It could stay like this forever, or it could get worse. The medicine is the same as Parkinsons but the overall treatment and progression is different. If you have a moment, please take a look at the website. My symptoms aren't cookie-cutter to the typical Dystonia case, as I have other "non-Dystonia" symptoms that are kind of a mystery.
