You recommend using http://www.resizeyourimage.com to crop and resize photos to 150X300 pixels. I agree. It is great for that purpose. Cropping and resizing takes a couple of clicks and I don't want to spend more that 15 seconds doing you that favor. The other one you recommend does not work as well because I have a big problem with cropping photos that site. The photo is displayed way too large in the window for starters. There are also many other tools out there but most of them are more cumbersome or don't do what you/I need (easily). That is why http://www.resizeyourimage.com works well for me.

But it has been down all day. Does anyone know what is going?

See if this link (beta version?) works for you. http://beta.resizeyourimage.com/EN/

Dudes its way to restrictive. Can it be a server space issue. A camera hasn't taken a photo of that size and crappy quality since a motorola flip phone. The bros need to update this function. I added a beer and took a nice pic and gave up 5 minutes into trying to get it to upload using both sites.

I use a free package that is easy to use, PhotoScape. All of the pictures I upload or post on BA I first run through Photoscape to rotate, crop, resize, etc. Never have to worry about a site being down. I do agree that the small size for uploaded files is restrictive and in many cases too small to see much. I do see why they want a specific ratio though, for consistency.

I've added..I think over 300 beer pictures. It's tedious but I use a combination of two websites:

http://picresize.com/ to crop and or resize the image to 150x300

and http://www.fotor.com to resave it to knock the KB size down (and possibly edit the picture if the color is not right).
