Resolute Variants

People were speculating based on the color of the labels but I don't know if that means anything, I don't remember any color/flavor coordination on past labels. Raspberry seems like a popular guess though/

I would feel safe in guessing Raspberry is one of the variants. The 2nd who knows but during Adam's fb live event earlier this week when he discussed the glass issue with those stemless tumblers not coming in until next week and the teku replacing it for this weekend he did mention that the reason they chose the red and blue colors on the glass was because it ties into the variants. Maybe blueberry for the 2nd?? but would they really do 2 fruited variants?

I would think it could be a tough taste to take with the style. The actual bottle label is more purple so maybe it's blackberry or boysenberry. How many options could there be with something that is blue or purple. I really just can't see them doing 2 fruited variants thought. But who knows. Guess we'll find out Saturday morning

 

Blue could be Vanilla, or coconut, or something with marshmallow. Those are the first thing that come to my head when I think blue label

 

Haven't heard much about this year's day. Is it expected to be same/more/fewer people than last? Did any wristbands given on Saturday get variants last year?

 

No they did not. For reference, I grabbed my wristband around 830/9pm on Friday last year. Chocolate Hazelnut sold out roughly 100 before me and Coffee about 3 people ahead of me. My wristband was in the 400s I believe but not 100% sure.

One thing they could do to assist people would be announcing bottle counts. That way you know if you are “in” the variant allocation or not based on wristband count and can make an informed decision about heading to the event. They refused to do this last year (probably to maximize attendance) and ended up with a lot of shutout people. I never imagined they’d be releasing so few based on the fact they were slinging out wristbands all night and Saturday morning to people who were shutout entirely.

Didn’t help that Resolute was watered down cola last year (at least on tap). I’m hopeful this year will be better.

Now that the cat is out of the bag

German chocolate cake- Resolute with cocoa nibs, coconut and pecans

Black Forest- Resolute with Cocoa nibs, cherries and vanilla bean

 

That was a fun release, plenty of bottles, and fairly short lines for pours. Also got to try Battle Creek and White Ferrari without much of an issue. Good line control this year, only person I heard complain was a woman who was bragging about jumping last years line.

 

Anybody know bottle counts for the variants?
