Results for aging Double Crooked Tree

    I recently cracked open a couple DCT's after cellaring for about a year...
    Curious what more time would provide.

    I had a four pack that I stored for 2 years. Opened one last week and immediately through the other 3 (full) bottles in the recycling bin.

    DCT w/ a year on it is sublime. It's essentially a Barleywine and ages beautifully.

    Everyone knows that when you age a double IPA it turns into a barleywine!

    The two that I drank were good, no hops or bitterness. Mainly just the citrus and some caramel tones, similar to a barleywine... not quite as hot
