Has anyone had the new Crush series yet? Looks like they made a fruit smoothy version too like Tired Hands Milkshake.

I've had Galaxy Crush, Citra Crush (on nitro which was amazing) and Double Crush. Missed out on Azacca Crush cans this weekend while in Canada, but looks like it's still on tap.

I thought Citra was the best, Galaxy was nice but a little too seltzer-y. Double Crush was a bit too sweet/boozy for me. They all still retain a nice hop bitterness, btw.

I've had em all. Fruit crush and double crush are my favorites. Azacca, galaxy and citra are noticabley more soft and fruity. They aren't that much of a departure from Reuben's IPAs, except how ugly they are. Better than some, but I still prefer my IPAs clear or at least less hazy.

I've had Galaxy Crush, Citra Crush, Double Crush, Azacca Crush, and Fruit Crush. That might be the whole series.

Fruit Crush would be the smoothie one. Can say with confidence I'm not the audience for this beer.

Double Crush is my favorite by a large margin, then Azacca. I found Galaxy to be underwhelming, but Citra was a noticeable improvement (and on nitro, making some comparisons harder).

That said, I never bought into the haze craze so not sure I'm the best judge of these beers.

I wonder if 10 Barrel trademarked the use of "Crush" in a beer name? They've had their Crush sour series going for awhile. I could see them pulling their AB-InBev lawyers into this and being complete dicks about it.

I actually wondered this as well. I can't imagine Adam and Co. would name their beers this without thinking about it. Maybe they're safe if it's only sold at the brewery?

Is there an easy way to know what Reubens will allow for growler fills vs not? Saw their tap list online and saw Azacca, Fruit and Double all listed but didn't know if any were off limits for growlers.

Not really. You can check recent Untappd pictures to see the most recent picture of their board.

They were filling both Fruit and Double on Saturday, if that helps. Didn't look at Azacca.

Don't they know that if it's hazy they can charge double that?

Or if it's hazy and the customer is "pretty wasted' they can charge whatever the hell they want?

Kewl. Just check your statements to make sure there were no triple-digit shenanigans. The folks at Reuben's are plenty honorable, but you never know...

This was helpful. I'm pretty sure everything that was on tap had growler fills with a couple of exceptions, one of which was BA Breakfast Stout and they had bottles to go for that one instead of growler fills. Agree with the comments below that Reuben's makes great beers at great prices for growlers. $12-15 for 64oz is a steal.

Grabbed a growler fill of Fruit Crush for Christmas Eve, $15 isn't bad at all.

Also had some Azacca Crush while waiting for the fill. Good stuff.

Uh huh, sure buddy, we believe you.

Plus, if you're in charge of exposing to relatives, y'all are prolly from Sedro-Wooley.
