REVISED: San Antonio tasting (5/27)

lol. I just choked down my first Beatification tonight. Give me a sweet and syrupy DL any day.

I'm am saving a few cool sours for the next SA tasting I can make it to though since most of the crew prefers those..

 

I'm sure that I can speak for the rest of the crew by saying..... Sour Alliance! We are trying to avoid the power of the dark side.

 

Especially after last night. The Hop Stoopid I'm drinking right now tastes a lot like DL, with a hint of KBS in the finish.

 

An emergency came up that prevented me from attending. Looks like I missed out. For sure next time, when ever that may be.

 

Resistance is futile........or something like that...

 

The biggest loss in my opinion was that Glen was not there to do some of his world famous blending!
Speaking of Glen.... when will you host the SA crew in podunk for a tasting? We only need sleeping for 10 or so. And don't try to put us up in the Lexington, we know how you think!

 

Sounds good to me since I'll be down there this weekend playing Army.

Yeah, it had a heavy infection of residual sugar. It blended well with the '11 Brandy DL though.

 

Is it even possible for that beer to be infected? it's almost fortified

 

Actually Crystal has access to a house on the island. We have considered it. We just need some advance warning so we can make sure the place is empty. That sounds shady like I'm gonna murder someone.
