These guys make killer IPA's and they've been on the shelf in NorCal. I buy them instantly when I see them.

Planetary Fog sold out at Davis Beer Shoppe in less than 24 hours. Loved the beer, even a bit green, favorite of their hazy recipes thus far. Hard to go terribly wrong with a hop bill of Amarillo, Citra, Mosaic, and Galaxy.

Enjoyed Jewel Box (single-hop Galaxy) recipe as well.

 

Still waiting for the 4pks to show up.

 

Saw 4pk's at Texas liquor in Carlsbad, 19.99. I had not heard of them so I passed.

 

Revision is the new brewery opened by Jeremy Warren, the founder of Knee Deep.

 

Bi-Rite Divisadero has been getting pretty much every release lately. Just picked up Jewel Box for 11.99 at Grocery Outlet.

 

$20 for a 4pk is a bit on the high side. But it is Texas Liquor. 4pks were selling for $10-$14 in Vegas. Revision is very good IMO. It’s one of the few bottles I like to keep in my fridge these days. Most everything else is cans. I hope they go the all can route with the exception of special releases in bottles. Hopefully their hazy cans will make it to the OC/LA area.

 

Based on this thread, I went back to Texas in Carlsbad yesterday and bought Jewel Box and Distance Haze. Both are very very good.

 

I had Planetary Fog DIPA on draft at Roundtable Pizza Clubhouse in Citrus Heights (East of Sacramento) just yesterday. They also had many 4 packs in the fridge.

Sacramento and Placer County are getting the biggest share of the Revision distro right now. Mostly since that is where his biggest fan base is from Knee Deep.

Got more cans of Planetary Fog and Jewel Box at OTP Rosveille. Final Gravity Roseville still has cans as well.

Pretty nice to not have to wait in any brewery line and just walk into most local bottle shops (also Total Wine) and just pickup 4 packs of solid NE IPAs. With the huge setup at Revision, they must be doing large batches already.

Some variety also..... as a TON of new beers are slated for December 2017. West Coast Triple IPAS, NE IPAs, Stouts and a Blonde ale.

December 19th - Drifting Through the Hop Yard 3x IPA (22oz Bottles and very limited Draft) This beer was brewed in collaboration with Total Wine and More North California. Limited and 1 time release. - Clear Beer

December 26th - Blonde NV - 6-pack 12oz Can release - Clear Beer

December 29th - Lord Lupulin, NorthEast-Style IPA (4-pack 16oz Cans and Limited Draft) Hazy Beer

December 29th - Smoke and Mirrors, NorthEast-Style DIPA (4-pack 16oz Cans and Limited Draft) Hazy Beer

Checked out the TW in elk Grove and they were sold out of revision cans. Any hints on where I can find this stuff in the Sacramento area?

 

The Revision cans go fast at the various Sacramento bottle shops. Hottest beer in town by far right now (especially Planetary Fog DIPA). Possibly call ahead. All the major shops had it in stock earlier this week.
