Those are semi-regular releases. They don't have a set schedule, but we are seeing many repeats now that they have expanded capacity. Got to check dates now, but usually they are bought up pretty fast.

Best bet is to follow their Instagram. That is where they post the latest releases at the Brewery. Then figure a few days after that to start hitting Distro in NORCAL. Maybe a week or 2 later now to SOCAL.

Ok thanks. I do get out to summerlin every once and a while so next time I'm there I'll try to find some of the ones I missed.

Older, but I've been looking for State of Haze to come back around since the 4th of July!

Funny you mention Planetary and RAF, since those were the next two I was going to list before realizing I have loved too many Revision beers to pick a 3rd and 4th favorite. Top two SoH and BotL tho, with PF and RAF right there as well. Of course that's just based on my personal spreadsheet (which goes to 100, so more room for nuance). If I did a blind taste test of all Revision hazies who knows the order lol

Off-topic, but I'll bring it back around: This year's 3-Way used a hop called Strata and some others but they aren't clear which. I hated it at first, but it grew on me the more I had it (I travel to the Northwest a little more than once a month on average) . Last week it was the second best beer I had in Seattle, and I had A Lot lol (mainly 4oz tasters). Anyway, it's a very unique tasting beer that takes a little getting used to, whereas, Revision does Mosaic and Simcoe with the best of them, kicks butt with Citra and Galaxy, and does Vic Secret and Amarillo and El Dorado solidly as well. So, basically, you'll love their beers right off the bat. Maybe @dcgunman or one of the other guys that are a little more up on Revision can confirm, but I don't think of Revision as using the newer, unnamed, or experimental hops that often, if at all. For that you go to Cellarmaker lol

Drinking Scrog Grog right now. 3 can out of the 4pk. Canned 9/25. Still drinking well.

Honestly, I think Revision did a good job implementing the lactose with this. Though it is far from my favorite Revision, I find it enjoyable. The lactose sweetness is definitely there.

I'm drinking a Scrog as well right now. This one is better than the first can I had for sure. Honestly I didn't even realize there was lactose in it. The sweetness is there, but in a good way.

So I saw an ad for a Lazy Dog Beer Club which sounded weird so I looked in to it.

Yes, Lazy Dog as in Lazy Dog Cafe. Didn’t read all the details since I’m not seriously interested in joining another beer club but it looks like they’re kicking off their first quarter with Revision in some capacity.

Never been inside of a Lazy Dog. Advisory Board? Really?
If I want Revision I go to the source. Not to the Dog.

I have that same dated can in the fridge looking forward to it this weekend. Do they make Scrog Grog all year long or only a few times a year?

Wow I'm in! 8 beers a quarter and you can join for $140 and swag! Not a huge fan of Saint Archer, but the wife loves Belching Beaver and if they have revision it's a not a bad deal. If you haven't been to Lazy Dog they are actually pretty good. Big portions of comfort food like meatloaf and big burgers with good prices. They just opened up one not far from me in Irvine and it's a nice change of pace over all the trendy spots we normally get. Hopefully they will start with some good hard to find beers in the box making the club worth while.

This would be ok if you ate/drank there a lot, having all your pints turn into 22oz. pours. Otherwise that's pretty pricey unless you really value swag and the prestige of being an advisory board member. Revision's beers may be worth that, but uh not Saint Archer. Food I've had there at the one in my town is good but the service is noticeably slow. Tap list really, really pales in comparison to the Eureka! right next to it.

Did some digging into the Lazy Dog Beer Club and it sounds absolutely legit ... I'll be joining.

The pricing is super low ... they are not making a dime off the club (or very little) and obviously pickups will help stimulate restaurant sales. Regarding the Revision release - it'll be an exclusive can release, only available to club members. Other 4-packs of seasonal stuff will be included ... BA stout releases are in the works (but that'll be in year 2) leveraging their Buffalo Trace barrels.

Anyways, seems pretty solid to me ... at that price point, I'm in.

Yeah tap list at Irvine is not much either, but since I pass them daily on the way home it's worth the upgrade. The only problem I don't like is you can't pair the discount with their happy hour.

Link just says hard to find beers from 3 different breweries per quarter. Would you please provide the source for this information?

And where did he get this info from? I mean maybe if it was a guy from revision directly...

IDK ... he's reliable so I'm not going to question all his sources ... he's involved in their beer club program so I'm not going to drill him for source details ... take it for what it's worth, it's a low-cost $35 investment / gamble

Ok cool. Doesn't matter to me as I signed up this morning. Mainly because I live a few minutes from the lazy dog and plan on using the discount for beers on site a lot
