How are they? I have never had any of their stuff but I hear good things. What is your "go to" beer for them?

The Cross of Gold is listed as a Blonde Ale here at BA, but I found it to be a great interpretation of an English Best Bitter.

I think they're doing very well. Of the ones they've bottled/canned so far, Double Fist (DIPA) and Anti-Hero (IPA) are very good. So is Cross of Gold. Coup d'Etat is ok. It's worth finding some of the stuff that's still tap-only (like Eugene), and a trip to the brewpub is definitely a good idea.

I find myself stopping there every time I come down to Chicago now. I love Iron Fist, a solid sessionable APA.

Revolution is a gamechanger. Whenever I am faced with the decision of where I want to go out in Chicago, I always find myself sitting at the Revolution brewpub. Great beer, great food, great atmosphere....place is the shit.

Anti-Hero IPA is one of the best "new" beers I have had in a very long time. So happy its finally available in stores.

I've tried several of their beers and anti-hero is my favorite so far. It's a great IPA and I recommend trying it. I have yet to have a beer from there I didn't like. I've also tried double fist (DIPA), bottom up wit (witbier), rosa (hibiscus), oktoberfest, and institutionalized (barleywine). If you stop at their place, the food is excellent as well.

Of their regular lineup Eugene and Anti-Hero are my two favs, but many of their seasonals and BA offerings are excellent as wel.... cannot wait for those cans of Eugene to start rolling out... nom nom nom.

Food is awesome at the Brewpub to so definitely worth checking out.

Eugene is my favorite porter to date. I will be crushing cans of it all winter.

I will add that I find Revolution's pricing absolutely awesome. I think I got bombers of their Oktoberfest for $5.

I really think Revolution is the most consistent brewery/brewpub in the city right now. They may not be making beers quite as experimental, maybe, as Goose or Haymarket, but I'd rather have a good beer than one that's "interesting". Then again, with the new production facility cranking out beer like crazy, it may free up the pub brewers to try more interesting things (ie. Night Moves). Also, the food menu may not be as adventurous as others but it's all executed just so well.

I've been going through my fair share of bombers of A Little Crazy lately (though I liked it more when it was the actual small beer from Institutionalized). I think Iron Fist is delicious and very much look forward to Very Mad Cow in another month or so.

I'm not sure how they set their pricing, I've seen the Oktoberfest and Golden ale at $5 a bomber in some groceries, and the Saison at $8 or $9 on the same shelf. Are they setting prices based on ingredients and cost-to-brew?

Saw cans today, but was looking for something else and didn't check prices -- wish I had now.

I have loved every stout variation and IPA I've had from them (haven't had other styles), some of their special releases would probably be in my top 10. Definitely a place I like to stop when I'm in Chicago. Only had their beer at DLD and their brewpub though
