Skip the Line for members with 600+ points (same point threshold as the Straight Jacket release).
Why are you spending points? Don't you want to hit the threshold where you choose next year's DT adjuncts?
The RevRewards Skip the Line doesn't use points. Or I bought even more Straight Jacket than I realized.
From what I was told, the Skip the Line only looks at cumulative points you have earned, so it doesn't matter if you use your points. I was worried about going under the limit, so hadn't been using my points, but last release I was told that it just looks at the points you accrued in total on your account, regardless of point usage/redemption.
Is this what I think it is?
This would be...incredible.

I'm no expert on Illinois marijuana legislation or some of the finer points of alcohol regulation, but I'd bet this is more of a marketing thing to celebrate legalization, rather than actually having packaged beer with THC in it.
Don’t ruin our good times, narc!
Yeah. It's pretty obvious Rev isn't doing a THC infused beer. But it's just funny to think about it.
Lots of stoners 'bout to get into homebrewing!
Could be a CBD beer? I believe in Oregon bars can sell “shots” of CBD infused liquid to be added to beers ala a car bomb
Does it reset every year?
Also I'm sure someone else has done the same thing I did... I got a rewards card early in the year at a release, completely forgot about it, then got another one a few months ago. Possible to merge them if I ask someone at rev?
The Strawberry/Honey Jacket release was to my knowledge the first time they've done it, so no clue on if it will reset / on what basis. If they do I imagine it would have to be on a last 12/whatever month basis as opposed to calendar year since there's a January release.
Would ask them and think they would be able to do it. Can also confirm that points go down when redeemed but the totals are still in the Rev system for these announces. Was down to 34 after making the last cut and was concerned it wouldn't register. Contacted them directly and they said don't worry about the current number.
I totally forgot about the reward program but apparently have 290 points, presumably from last year's releases. Are there actual cards or can they just look you up at the brewpub? I've missed out on a lot of points.
Yes, they can look you up. One of the releases last year was when I think I lot of people signed up for it initially, myself included. It may have been when they first introduced the program even. There were no cards issued at the time. I believe there are cards issued now but a card is not required as they'll just look you up.
To add onto this, I think that if you sign up online, you don't get an actual card. That's what I was told, as I signed up online and didn't get an actual card. I just give them my name or phone number whenever making a purchase.
Thank you, both!
Rev touched on the Skip the Line and how points will be treated for 2020-2021 releases in the e-mail they just sent.
Wonder if this is calendar 2018 or Deep Woods 2018 (through early 2019).
He’s never been wrong in my experience
If I obtain 15 points(at 585 right now) this weekend, can I get a special email too.....please....pretty please...
Exactly how early should I expect to get there next week for the release?
It’s gonna be cold. I’m showing up late. If I can get some, awesome. If not, I’m not waiting in line and have face and feet be cold.
That wasn't a trade post... it was a request to see if someone could do something for me... lol. But by all means, delete it...
I think Mr./Mrs. Moderator doesn't understand what a trade is. **Waits for this one to also get deleted**
Same I am just shy of 600 points for the fight club email. Is it too late to join for this round?
Unfortunately, given how things panned out for the VSOR release, I don't think the cold will deter an early line. Especially if they let the first 60 people wait inside again. I could be wrong, and I'm hoping that I am, but I'm also not holding my breath.
Not even the cigarette smoking and risk of cancer will deter early arrivals.
I'm holding out for 1,000 points so I can smoke a cigar in line...
Has Straight Jacket made it's way to Binnys yet? I haven't seen it but wasn't sure if it sold out (I think it sat around for a while last year)
It's out. I've seen it at 2 Binny's.
I grabbed mine at the Lincoln Park Binny's right after getting my Bourbon County allotment on Black Friday if that helps any.
Call the stores that say 'Limited Please Call' after you click on the 'CHECK ALL STORES' in red. There is still plenty out there.
Proposal: secret level unlock by which I can purchase a keg of my choice from library. @Veliksta1
They had Deth and Cafe earlier this year. Still have Plums https://revbrew.com/visit/brewery/keg-request
The Mrs. and I got married at the taproom last night, and we couldn’t have been happier with how the event went. Your team is amazing, with Steph and Kat specifically being super stars. The food, the venue, and the staff were absolutely amazing.
Anyone looking for a beer related (or just awesome in general) wedding venue, Rev is absolutely perfect. We received so many compliments from our guests last night about the venue.
TLDR - Convince your s/o to get married at Rev
But did you include being able to skip the line for next Friday's release as part of the venue contract????
