Boss Ryeway & VSOD will not be distributed. Regular ryeway is being distributed.

Even worse than the $1 is you didn't get your Rev Rewards, man!

After drinking a VSOD the other night, I decided I made a grave mistake by only purchasing one 4-pack and went back to the brewery for 2 more packs and one additional Cafe Deth. Hit my 300 points and boom...$20 off...My only regret is not having bought another pack of VSOD now that I was $20 ahead and continue the cycle...

So Rev Rewards never expire. Does the "Skip the Line" total just increase over time or is it based on calendar year?

Ryeway was always slated to see limited distro, just like plums.

Thank you, @FBarber , and @ChiPez66 , our friend @Onerandombeer missed the info on Rev's site that was posted weeks ago (weeks, I tell you, weeks ).
"There will be wide distribution of Deth’s Tar, Café Deth, and Straight Jacket cans to select retail accounts, along with limited distribution of Deth by Plums, Ten Year Beer, and Ryeway to Heaven."
Read that, and about all of the glorious info of Deeper Into the Wood at: https://revbrew.com/deeper-into-the-wood

Rev email from Dec 4: We'll be continuing our Skip the Line for Rev Rewards members during the upcoming 2020-2021 Deep Wood Series season. Starting in February 2020 (after the January 24 release of Ten Year Beer and Cuvée de Grace), your balance will be based off of purchases from 2019 forward. Points from 2018 will not be counted toward Skip the Line status.

Shit, I missed the Ten Year is seeing some distro, that's solid news!

I know, I know...But if I went to the Brewpub I would have bought 2 more VSOD like you did, and I am already WAY too over the beer budget. (an imaginary, floating number in my head...)
For skipping the line next year, it came in an email for those that have already skipped it, like @ktr5010 just posted (beat me to the punch!).

No, you just posted a 5 paragraph response.

Did they give any indication if the target (600 points) would move?

Sssshhhh... We don't want people knowing that info, and certainly don't want people thinking this thread can be friendly and useful in any way...

Good question. Thought they went from 700 to 600 for the Dec releases as I got two emails from them. Would guess they have a % they set aside for pick up and that sets the threshold based on member point balances. Also wonder how these two for January will be released allotment-wise. At first glance, I'd guess <4 x 4pks pp, but who knows?

They did not. I have to imagine it will reset to a lower amount. 600 points is 600 dollars which is a lot to spend between Feb and October just at Rev. My guess would be 200 points for the first October (hypothetical) release. @BeerCruncher Is there a projection for the line?

I think it was 600 from friends who did get it, but not fully sure.

I actually meant for the January 2020 release, but could be good to know (or speculate) later
good point on the later date.

For January - if anything i'd think it would go up because you'd have a lot of people buying beer at the December release with nothing coming off.

For next year's Deep Woods - from your email, I don't think it's not dollars spent between February 2020 and October 2020. Sounds like it's any dollars spent from 2019 on.

Perfect. To sum up- the forums are no place for these discussions. If you are aggrieved at seeing a child at a brewery the best thing you can do is buy them a beer and tell them the truth about Santa.

Remember, your 2019 points count as well, so it's not just February 2020 till October 2020, its everything from this past year too. On our end, it's not based on a point total, it's based on the top XXX point earners, where XXX is the number of people we think we can handle without creating another big line in itself. That number can fluctuate as we continue to evaluate how things go since this is still a pretty new concept. We then tend to round it to the nearest 100 pts in order to more easily explain what it took to make the list. Make sense?

What’s the top triple x rated points earned currently at?
