    Speaking of coffee, has anyone tried Dark Matter’s Supermassive Deth barrel aged coffee? I know very little about coffee, but was blown away by a barrel aged coffee I had back in March - there was so much whiskey. My brother is a coffee connoisseur and looking to get him something different for Christmas. Just curious what I could expect from these?

    I haven't had that specific bean, but I've had a bunch of their barrel age/conditioned beans previously. My experience has usually been that I don't get a specific whiskey or beer flavor, but the coffee is also very clearly different. I've usually liked their BA stuff that is in a well used barrel (not a freshly dumped whiskey barrel, but one that has already been used for a stout and then maybe for barleywine). To my taste, BA stuff that calls out flavors of berries are the tops.
