Revolution Brewing (2020)

I was wondering if they only gave them out to those who tip, or had large orders. I assume they need to clear the stock though, so maybe everyone got one.

 

Not sure, I was in the first pickup window yesterday and they didn’t give any.

 

I was there at 12:15 yesterday and got a Ghost Rider 6 pack. But maybe it was my charming smile underneath my face mask.

 

I was there around 2 and the guy told me only one person said no to the free beer. Must’ve been offering to everyone.

 

Despite having far too much beer I definitely wasn’t the person who said no to free beer.

 

Even my wife said I’d be crazy not to take free beer after having a conversation with me about having too much beer.

 

Drinking my Mixed Berry now. I absolutely love every bit of it. It’s super jammy without the sweetness. Alcohol is very hidden in the taste, but very apparent by the time you finish it. Only complaint is the rye isn’t coming through as much as other Ryeways, but the dryness makes up for that.

 

I picked up and said "no" to the kolsch.

Full fridge + don't like the style = more for somebody else.

Berry Ryeway = fucking delightful, a summer (rye) barleywine on par with Strawberry Jacket. I remain convinced that Revolution is making the best barleywine / ryewine in the world. Yes, not just the country, the entire world.

I was in the 1-2pm Friday pickup and did not get the ghost ride, maybe because I only got 2 4packs?

 

I only got 2 and got Ghost Ride.

 

Love a good kolsch. I drank a lot of Ghost Ride earlier in the spring when my local watering hole was only open for weekly growler fills. Right before picking up my Ryeway, I stopped by Dovetail. I had 16 cans of their kolsch in my trunk, but I happily accepted a free sixer of Revolution's.

I'm also drinking a Mixed Berry Ryeway now and love it. I'll probably wait til my next one to review formally, but it's really excellent. Out of their other fruited releases from recent years, I would say that the closest comparison is actually Code Switch.

 

There should be a club.

 

My wife also thinks we have too much beer, but she also stole the first can of Mixed Berry Ryeway I put in the fridge, so...

 

I got 3 4 packs and they gave me two sixers of the ghost ride to fill out a case haha

 

Pretty sure this website is the club.

And my friend picked up in the middle of the 12-1 pick up. He walked there. No Ghost Ride. Regardless, he's been walking through the curbside pick up at Rev since this all began and he said everytime it's a super easy and friendly transaction.

Only bought 1 four pack of MB Ryeway but gave a small cash tip and got a free case of Ghost Rider.
