Haha. I meant overall. I grabbed a couple from the actual release, and then a couple more from Binny's.

 

DT has been readily available for the past couple years months after its release. I'm sure I could still find 2019 out there. I doubt it will be different for 2020.

 

Maybe? It was available at the brewery throughout most if not all of last year's DW releases, but is already gone from there. And from what people have posted above, it doesn't sound like they just shifted a lot more DT to distro.

 

Last few years Deth's Tar was available for many weeks at Binny's after an initial large shipment. From what I've seen/heard the past few days, many Binny's received 8-12 cases last week and are already down to 3-5 left. Perhaps they will be receiving another shipment, but it is messing with my budget and plan to spread out some purchases instead of buying more this week.
Really hoping Meijer will get some like in the past -- it looks much better on the VISA bill

 

Curious how accurate the beer finder is for Rev? Or how accurate Binny’s website tends to be with releases like this? My gf is in the Normal/Bloomington area for a couple days but neither show it being around yet.

 

How dare you pass on the opportunity to set the all-time record for Rev Rewards points in a foolish quest to maximize your cash flow through JIT procurement and lean inventory practices!

It was true as of Saturday. Same limit on Cafe. But again, YBMV.

 

These news of one 4pack per person is most unwelcome. I've been spoiled over the past couple of years by being able to stroll in whenever and just buy Deth's Tar. Hell, I use to buy 4-packs and just throw in a can as an extra for trades I was doing. No good deed goes unpunished!

 

They had it two years ago, but mine didn't have it last year. I'm also hoping they get it this year. I was able to pick some up months after release a couple years ago at Meijer.

 

Maple Deth has sold out. Cafe still around on-line.

 

Apparently my Binnys is also 1 pack pp limit. No more on the shelf.

No idea when my local Binny's actually received it (I have been calling nearly every day, except yesterday). Today I rolled up and there was 1 per limit on both selections. Each one was down to the last pack. I took the regular and when I was done perusing I saw a guy in store that had the last Cafe.

I think Rev's geographic footprint plays a large role in this. It's larger while the barrel program likely hasn't grown much in volume. I.E. Less going to each distributed locale, and i.e. less sitting on shelves for months on end but rather a few days or a couple weeks tops.

Only reason I didn't buy any from the brewery was I wanted to use RevRewards and then realized Covid made the event go all to hell so it was a grab and go non-event where I couldn't even add Regular Deth's Tar to a secondary order because it was removed from the website at that time.

Right there with you @Jagrmaister - I have been unable to get to the Brewpub and have $80 in unused Rev Rewards. I had hoped to get extra DT and SJ with those $$, along with some pours, but will plan to get there in the spring. (Fingers crossed)
As far as Deths Tar running out, I see local shops getting it this week but some are selling single cans. Not sure what to make of it...

Loved the fresh pleasant brewery smell today. Loved the free Base four pack they comped to my order. Had one Sunday, still going strong.

 

I went to my local Binny's to try & cop some Deth / Cafe Deth. They hadn't received theirs yet...but they had 2019 Straight Jacket.

I believe it was Shakespeare* who said "Ye can't always get what ye wants, but if ye try sometimes, ye gets what ye needs"
