I’ve been to a few in Peoria over the last couple years on the actual night of the party….randomly happened to be In the heights the same day as a few pour bros events. They’ve never had glassware there that I recall….just stickers and things like that.

Still a bunch of sexy beers on draft at the Taproom from the Gene Jacket party...although I'm heading there now to make sure they don't last TOO long.

Not in my part of Ohio - northern. My local thinks it’s being held up by the state. Same UPC as last year but a different label. DT was delayed about three weeks this year. The state of Ohio is weird that way. Power gained by controlling the liquor industry, I guess.

Don't worry guys, it made it to the Green Bay area. So you can add WI to the list today.

Are you guys talking about Straight Jacket? I first sighted it in Mke suburbs the week before Black Friday. I know it was the new stuff because they got me with that new can art.

Sorry. Yeah, this was particularly about Ryeway. He said SJ was last week or maybe even earlier than that.

I think the glassware is at the Preview Parties which occur after the online sale but prior to the actual release/pick up. I got that same sexy glass at a Deep Woods preview party in MI a couple of years ago & I love it

Ryeway is an absolute treat. Kevin, you need to find some. That is all.

It always is. And I already have a 4 pack of both from my ticket that I'll be getting my hands on this weekend. That said, I'm just impatient for 2 of my favorite beers every year. Plus I want more than 4 of each. That just isn't going to cut it. It'll all work out in the end.

And to be clear, this isn't really complaining on my end. Just a beer distro oddity observation in my world that I've noticed the last few years. My area is really blessed with an embarrassment of BA beers via distro. Add in local Triptych BA releases, proximity to Chicago and StL and I'm surviving just fine.

Well, in the spirit of Christmas, if you can't stumble upon any hit me up and I may know an elf that can help with a couple cans.

Well my friend supposedly should be driving by a place today with some. I'm assuming he called ahead to actually check but guess ill know soon enough. Thank you though for the offer! Is great how the people on these forums are so helpful (sending stuff, giving heads up on XYZ beers that are in stock in various locales rather than keep it a secret).

Well finally cracked straight jacket '22 and a Cafe Deth over the past couple days. Very impressed with both. Definitely will be stopping by Rev/Binnys next Chicago visit and taking a bunch of beer back and eat the airline fee. Just the right amount of barrel, and in the case of the Cafe, adjunct.

Woodmans Bloomingdale sporting SJ at $19.99 and Ryeway at $26.99. Cheapest I've ever seen by far.

Whoa, that's below the taproom price. Although taproom does give you points, for what those are worth.

Side note - is that a new Woodman's? Never knew that there's one in Bloomingdale, I used to live not too far from there...

The woodmans in Bloomingdale is at Stratford Square Mall. I think it opened around fall of 2021.

The barrel aged beer nerd's Bitcoin, just more stable!

What @cd34 said. As with previous Woodman's I've been to, the liquor dept is pretty amazing. Bring that cash or debit card though.

Probably the only retailer in America right now where one can grab any new release BCS bottle, pickled eggs, and kimchi in one stop. Yes, I bought some pickled eggs for my redneck father in law, the kimchi for some culinary endeavors this week, and skipped the BCS bottles.
