I’ve only really noticed the jump. Gone from under $2 and rides right around $5-6 around here. So much for eggs being cheap protein.

Now that I think about it, you’re right. I set my threshold at $.25 for a hamburger back in 1950 and haven’t bought one since. Prices are static and inflation isn’t real.

And don’t get me started if a store has the nerve to round up to the next $.00. They’ll lose my business forever, even if it’s only one item!!!

 

Yes and 8oz cans.

 

But imagine if Rev included one more can (bringing it to the same amount of liquid) plus a glass and a box, but tacked on an extra $200.

 

We definitely need more 8oz and even 6oz cans for the high abv stuff.

Fact: I can get 2-3 pineapples for cheaper than a carton of 12 eggs (varies by size, quality)

 

Didn't Mikerphone have one at some point? IIRC, they were frequently getting above $50/4 pack until they switched to 500mL bottles, and people were complaining about the price. Although I believe Mikerphone would let you buy it by the bottle if you didn't want to buy all 4.

Now for something completely different....
Has anyone spotted Rev's Pilsner out and about? I have not been able to locate at Jewel, Binney's Oak Brook, etc.

 

Ah yes! Back in Sep-2018 Mikerphone sold BA Vanillanoize at $60 per 4 pack, 12 ounce bottles. I gladly purchased. Others balked. Mikerphone even stated in their post “vanilla isn’t cheap and we used a lot of it” lmao

 

These types of comments make me wish for a “dislike” button. I love the variants at rev release parties but the servings always feel dainty to me and I usually have to get 2 or 3 of the ones I like most.

 

For anyone grumbling about the cost of dbvsoj and Revolution not supporting their customers, please be reminded that the season ticket was $360 for 12 four packs. $30 for 48 oz of BA beer is a fantastic deal, let alone at the quality that Rev is operating at. And you knew that dbvsoj would be included in the season ticket .

Oh, so rather than spending $60 to get DBVSOJ I should spend $360? I’m sure the price breaks out even better for you if you spend a few mil to buy the brewery….

 

buying Revolution brewing for a few million dollars would be a steal , kind of like the cost of the season ticket…

 

But you at least have that option. If I grab something that I end up not liking because I take a chance on something, I’m either wasting sobriety or beer that I would rather spend on something else.
