I just came across two dusty 2019 Straightjacket at a random liquor store in Romulus, MI for $3 each. I feel like this was a real win worth celebrating and noting here. Cheers folks.

 

What is a breakfast blend ale? Are they breaking their trend of a single adjunct?

 

I hope Dread & Breakfast replaces Cafe Deth this year...one coffee variant is MORE than enough (in my opinion, of course).

Regardless, all is forgiven with a new Cuvee de Grace. Can't wait to try that one!!

What’s it going to be? A blend of Eugene, Deth Tar, Straight jacket and Gravedigger or other aged with a more mild coffee roast? I can’t imagine it will just be a coffee stout

 

When I think breakfast blend I think maple syrup And coffee.

 

Maybe they pulled all the Maple Deth and old Cafe cans from lotto boxes for this blend. /s

 

Could be that. I just don’t know why they wouldn’t have said a blend of ales with maple syrup and coffee if it was that easy.

But the can imagery teases coffee, bacon and eggs!

 

Hopefully we'll get chunks of eggs in each can then.

 

Or a creamy, foamy body from egg whites.

Both Dread and Cuvee note that they contain lactose.

In Rev I trust, but never imagined a milk stout/barleywine Cuvee. Anxiously awaiting the full details.

 

I'm assuming the Cuvee will include some Dark Mode or VSO Dark Mode...which is A-OK with me!!

 

Very astute! The lactose disclosures are due to some further extended age VSO Dark Mode barrels being included.
