it is my totally serious, not at all a joke, suggestion for 1/3 of the announcement.

Could definitely see a BA Unsessionable barleywine turning out pretty cool...

A Planetary Dose of Roasted Coffee
In the moment between Deep Wood seasons, we’re keeping the flame alive with the return of our most acclaimed barrel-aged coffee beer.

Supermassive Café Deth returns to our orbit for the first time since 2021. The ultimate gravitational singularity of the Deep Wood Series packs ten pounds of freshly roasted Dark Matter coffee into a powerfully oaked base of Deth’s Tar Imperial Oatmeal Stout.

This April release is not a part of either the 2023-24 or 2024-25 Season Ticket program. All four-packs will be available for public sale starting at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, April 16. Prior year season ticket holders will be offered an early pre-sale. Pickups begin at the release on Friday, April 19.

Introducing the Twenty Ten Variant Collection
    [IMG]
We’re bringing the barrel variant energy to a series of extremely limited 19.2-ounce cans. The Deep Wood Series' Twenty Ten Variant Collection seeks to joyfully recapture the scrappiness, the playfulness, and the buzz of Revolution's earliest days on Milwaukee Ave. with super-limited expressions of our favorite powerhouse Deep Wood beers, previously only available on draft on release weekends or at festivals. No more hoping for a post-release crowler – these incredible variants will come through our world-class canning line for the lucky folks who preorder.

At times the beers will conjure memories of past favorites, and at other times they’ll be entirely new creative endeavors (coffee made from beer?!). Each one, however, will be executed with the same level of quality customary to our core Deep Wood Series beers, by a team absolutely hellbent on good times and barrel-aged domination.

The first two offerings in this new lineup will be made available first for preorder to the previous DWS Season Ticket holders as a thank you for their commitment to our barrel program. We’ll have more information available closer to the Supermassive release date.

The Full 2024-25 Deep Wood Lineup and Season Tickets Drop This June

Our team has an unforgettable journey planned for the 2024-25 Deep Wood Series, and the best way to make sure you don’t miss a thing is to be part of the Season Ticket program. We’ll have the full July-January lineup, and Season Ticket renewals, available coming in June.

Think of the 19.2s as a way to finally get you crazy variants to take home, but not forcing you to buy 32oz crowlers that are hand-sealed and don't keep as well. These will also be pre-sold with the main releases, so that you don't have to wait until after the release to see if Crowlers go on sale and come all the way back. We have the first 6 or so planned out, including these first two Supermassive variants, and...look out.

Distro for the Supermassive 4-packs and the 19oz-ers? Or just the Supermassive 4-packs?

Yeah, I think it's a cool idea as well. Wonder if there are plans to have TTVC spun off into a season ticket type of approach or just have them as ad hoc limited purchases at each DW release. In any event, seems to be a lot of potential in this space. Looking forward to seeing how this progresses.

This gives me a reason to renew my season pass. Was debating (I don't like barleywine) but first access to these is a no brainer.

As St. Errant just quizzically released a barrel aged stout in a bag , has Rev discussed this format? Deep Wood Sack has a definite ring to it.

It’s a little strange to evoke the past when the current Deep Woods program is leaps and bounds better, but I’m totally on board with the 19oz variants.

I never buy $30-40 (or higher, I suppose) 2/4packs but would buy a single 19.2 in a heart beat!

But what if the 19.2 is also $30? A lot of the recent crowlers were close to $2/oz, I believe.
