The former I believe. I see a reference to it on their FB page as being "a Stout fluent in the language of Barleywine -- combining the sweet, complex depths of aged malt without losing the shadowed primal note of roasty warmth".

A video will go up today. One of the components was brewed in a way that has similarities to a barleywine and gives it a lot of that flavor. It's a complicated one but really interesting and different. Taste is off the charts, you're gonna love it.

Quick Poll: Would you all prefer that Season Tickets be run through OZNR? Any positive and negative feedback toward your experiences on that app with other clubs or releases?

Thanks! I dislike barleywine so I was curious as to the components. Maybe this will be a good bridge between stout and barleywine. Sounds like it should lean more stout.

My only negative has been the fees associated with Oznr. Everything else has worked seamlessly.

Oznr has been fine - I use it for the Whiskey Hill Club and it seems to work well. BA's parent company would probably like if you did that ...

No, current system works fine for me. An extra layer of hidden fees and service charges? Voting No again.

ONZR usually works well, but that's only been for single click releases. With all DW releases being multiple beers, with various allotments, might be a little tricky?

I've had Zero issue with the current setup. Always smooth, so if it's not broken......

I haven’t signed up for OZNR, and would be disappointed if Revolution transitioned. Would consider giving up my season ticket.

Your website has always worked great, and I don’t see any advantages as a consumer from leaving the current set up.

I find the added fees on most Oznr sales so cringe-worthy that I'm becoming more and more selective in terms of which releases I target. I don't have any memberships through the app, but for usability and dependability on other releases I have no complaints.

This is already very helpful. FYI, nothing serious I just happened to be talking to somewhere who works there about something completely unrelated and getting us on OZNR was a big hope of theirs. It's not a priority of mine, and while shopify is always a scary process for us on release day, it's generally not broken.

I draw the line at having to download something onto my phone in order to purchase something completely unrelated. Why should we have to put someone else’s tracking app onto a device in order to buy your beer? If Hasboro said the only way they’d sell you a Paw Patrol toy for your kids is if you agree to let them have an employee follow your kids around and take notes, would you sign up for that? Why should this be any different for consumers of Rev products? As someone who religiously participated in Goose Island events, I went completely cold turkey on them once the only way I could participate was to download OZNR. What’s more important for your business? The consumer or their information? Having to remember a username and password to a site to buy beer is equally stupid. OZNR offers no option to purchase without downloading the app, they don’t offer an option to enter via their website with a username and password, or even smarter would be for them to offer what many other sites do and have a website with a check out as guest feature which requires you to not have to sign up and remember another username a password but still make a purchase.

I totally get where you're coming from, but the only permission allowed to OZNR on my phone at least is for notifications. Nothing else is required to use it besides registering and providing a form of payment.

Like some others said here, I’d probably just opt out of buying anything that I could only get on OZNR. But I’m also a surly old man who doesn’t want to have to download something else in order to buy beer. Personally I’ve never had a website issue for the biggest releases!

I have no dog in this fight since I wont be a season ticket holder but Oznr as an app continues to bug me with its broken notifications, lazy interface, and that it continues to break the iOS design language. Its lazily built and feels like just a funnel for NextGlass to siphon some fees off of breweries while offering little to no value to the consumer.

Oznr has been fine- P3 Ambassadors and More Bairal run through it, is great for keeping track of what you need to pick up and when, there are many options for how many bottles, and makes proxy a breeze- even saves my prior proxies to make assigning faster. Only complaint is the fees of course.

People saying they wouldn’t buy are making it up and will be creating an Oznr account the next double barrel release that comes out.

I’d point you to the last like 5-10 Half Acre releases that look like they could have been some of the best beers released in their given years. If a double barrel barlewine didn’t get me to sign up, nothing will.

when those moved to Onzr, was there an added fee associated with the membership itself? if not, then I would say this is a no-brainer for the season ticket.

for the select few, if the line in the sand to try amazing beers is downloading an app and paying an extra 3.76% fee, then so be it. the big releases will still sell out quickly and others will get to try them

If people seem this blaśe about extra fees, why not just keep the release in house and charge everyone $3 more per 4 pack? That would seem to appropriately revenue manage the situation.
