On the opposite of that, did Cherry VSOJ get pulled from preview parties? I swear it's been in the promotional stuff all week long but it seems all mention of it was deleted and the new pics online have it edited out. Idk, maybe the storms knocking my power out all week made me imagine it. Doesn't really matter because I'll be trying it and picking up at the Taproom right at 2pm tomorrow.

 

So there are two draft variants tomorrow, and then a super secret season ticket draft variant tonight?

 

Season ticket variant has traditionally been one of the variants from the release party. If they continue to do that, the variant on today for season ticket holders would be one of the two variants available tomorrow.

 

Ah, thanks. Trying to decide if I want to sneak over there tonight and grab everything or hit the release tomorrow. I'd really like to try both variants so I may wait.

 

In Fawksian physics this would be know as the Fawkes Entanglement Theorem and the solution is based on the Fawksingers Cat hypothetical which posits that one simultaneously will participate in both options.

 

I'm thinking only Cherry VSOJ will be on tonight. I might make it there tonight, I'll report if so.

 

If no one has checked in either of the two draft variants at this point, then I'd say Cherry VSOJ is the Season Ticket holder draft.

Well, actually, two Supermassive Cafe Deth varients and Double Barrel VSOD are still on also, so there's plenty of Deep Wood pouring.

Beware though, it's the language club night so it's pretty busy here.

 

You guys are gonna hate me for saying it but...this year's VSOJ seems real good. Also, Coconut Deth is unsurprisingly very balanced (although a dude next to me that hates coconut also didn't like the beer).

New glasses are dope, and smaller than I expected (also nice and bottom-heavy). Really appreciate the effort on Rev's part.

 

Speaking of glasses, have they announced when we get the season ticket glasses?

 

I could have sworn I read which release it was somewhere. Maybe on the renewal page itself? I dunno. I'm thinking it's the next release in Oct if memory serves (and it likely does not). Very much looking forward to it whenever it comes.

 

Tbh I was surprised, I love coconut in beers and would've liked way more (which I know isn't really the Deep Woods way), but I thought it was so harmless that the guy would've enjoyed it. He'd had VSOJ first, though, so it's possible that really made the coconut pop for him.

Haven’t made it to release party in awhile. Hoping to stop by later tonight — any word yet on how much they made of the two variants?

 

FYI, "only" Coconut and VSOJ were at the pub today when I stopped in for lunch. A little disappointing since the instagram post specifically said "all three release beers will also be on draft at both locations." I was hoping to save my stovepipes a little longer but I guess I'll be cracking one tonight.

There were at least a couple VSOJ 4-packs in the cooler for anyone who somehow missed out.
