Any BA's know if Revolution Brewing has cans or bottles available for purchase yet? Heard they were supposed to start in May but there was a delay.
Based on the last email I got, it seems like the first 22oz. bottles we'll see will be Rise and Double Fist, though there was no date provided for either. But yeah, bombers before cans. And because I'm a shameless eavesdropper, I can tell you A. that the Kedzie facility has brewed "a lot" of Institutionalized and Mad Cow and that every ounce is headed for (or is already in -- I'm not sure) barrels. Also, the Kedzie facility has brewed, in one month, half of what the brewpub produced in the past year. So to me, that's a metric shit-ton of beer and I'm very much looking forward to it!
Figured I'd go with this thread to point this out -- Revolution is selling 1/6 barrels of Double Fist out of their Kedzie facility. $140 which, for that beer, doesn't seem too crazy. Great beer for a July 4th holiday! Taproom closes today at 6pm (via facebook).
Great beer, but if that's what you're drinking all day, I'd bet you don't make it to see the fireworks.
