IN Fall River you have Canned Heat which is very good mainly with NEIPAs. From north to south Ragged Island in Portsmouth is highest rated for their kettle sours and their beers are probably the best on the island, then Taproot in Middletown and Newport Craft Brewing & Distilling are sporadic but have nice tasting areas (Taproot shares the Newport Vineyards building, Newport Craft has a covered patio in back).

Newport is better known for beer bars: on Broadway, you have Norey's and Pour Judgement among several other nice bars within a 3 block area.

Not much of note to the east of the Sakonnet Passage in Tiverton and Little Compton.

My favorite of their beers...I think the Chosen One is higher rated, but it can cross over the excessively sweet line with the hop candy flavor.

How much beer is Long Live making these days? A friend shared a few of their NEIPAs with me and they were all amazing and definitely in contention for a Haze Craze Crown. I would happily trade Tree House beers for them- why do they not get more acclaim? Too small?

    My favorite brewery.
It has to be because of size. Their beer is incredible and the new taproom is awesome.
The neighborhood isn't great though. You aren't going to be walking around shopping or dining before or after the brewery. That might play a small factor.
The other thing is, they don't distribute at all. I don't think you can even get their stuff on tap outside the brewery. With the restaurant scene in Providence they could definitely grow their fan base by getting into restaurants but maybe they just don't make enough beer for that.

I agree LLB intentionally holds back from restaurants, but it helped their taproom options immensely in the days before Covid. Even releasing maybe 2-3 cans per week, they were offering 10-14 draft options consistently. That helped to keep up on their latest releases even when cans sold out quickly.

I want to say they did one draft event at Bayberry where the taps were split between them and Deciduous at the time of some collab release, that's about it.

Long Live has some of the best customer service I've encountered as well. Servers are outstanding, also one time I was on Covid calendar and mistakenly went after 5pm on a Sunday, but the owner had the door open a crack while brewing and stopped me from walking away to get my order.

    Definitely tops in my book.
