Not me. I think it's fun to offer up unique items like magnums. Makes the hobby more interesting.

(For the record, I did not win one)

This. I would have liked to have one, but just can't justify the trip for one single bottle that would end up costing me about $100. It's cool for someone already going though. I was thinking of trying to get a magnum just to see if I could trade it for several regular RR bottles, would not have expected there were that many of them.

Surprisingly got a magnum. I entered the lotto on a lark being that I will be in Ashevile Saturday. Looks like I'll make the trip east on Sunday to grab this thing.

Had the 3 FF sours that they have on tap today. Have to say I liked Carolina Custard the best.

My favorite today was the SARA Cask. Such spot on goodness. What a well done event by Fonta Flora. Wish I could have stayed longer for the BBQ!

I thought it was a pretty smooth release. It was a nice crowd, but with so many draft stations lines weren't bad at all. Blendiculous #3 was a pleasant surprise.

Any chance of some of these beers still being on draft tomorrow?

No doubt. Grabbed a few of those too.

Just wanted to chime in and say I'm a big fan of online ticket-based releases. I wouldn't have driven out to Morganton if I didn't have some bottles locked in already. Wife and I had a great day of hiking (found some relief from the forest fires up near Greybeard Mountain on the parkway), hit up Wisteria for brunch > some tasty beverages and bottle pickup at FF.

Thanks for the food recommendations in this thread. We were happy with Wisteria.. I had the sausage gravy with eggs (if I were to change anything, thought the gravy was a bit thin but still delicious) and she had the huevos rancheros.

^Saw that. Wonder if some of those bottles are ones that people bought online and didn't end up picking up? Cool thing for them to do for locals, just another tease for me though ha.

possibly. I think this a good way to balance their customer base. Hope they do this with future sales.

Big props to Fonta Flora. A number of people offered up some solutions a year or two ago about their bottle releases and how to get them to all of their customers and it seems like they have done every single one.

Yep, really like the random release of some of the bottles. Now I just wish I didn't happen to be travelling when they did it.

Sorry to resurrect these posts so late, but I've been to Wisteria three different times now and have loved it each time and so have the people I've gone with. If you get the chance c64person, you should give 'em another shot.

I might try them again, but definitely enjoyed Mountain Burrito. Hard to change up places when you have a really tasty burrito experience.
