As discussed in the "best beer bars in RI" thread, we were musing over possible locations to have a BA meet up, with Track being a possible (and most likely) destination. Maybe if we could get enough people, they could trot out some sort of special keg/cask for us? And for the sake of planning, we could probably set this up for a few months down the line, maybe springtime. What say ye?
I'd definitely be in, but my schedule is going to be insane from now until mid-May. Pick a date and time and I will do my very best to make it there. It'd be fun to put faces with names. Truth be told, I think the lot of us RI beer fans need to band together to create some of the change we'd like to see. No growlers, crap taps at restaurants, breweries that aren't as good as their New England counterparts, still no Narragansett brewery in-state, etc. All of these issues could be changed by the power of the people. That power begins with us befriending one another. If we're doing it at the Track I beg, BEG that they have one sessionable lager on tap that night. Pegli and I would be in our glory! If it's nothing but big Belgians and DIPA's, I'm bringing a sixer and leaving it in my car, ha ha. Just kidding, kind of.... Hopefully we can pull this off! Salute!
Hahaha...nothing beats parking lot pints ! I know all the bootleggin' backroads from here to the Track and cornies are quite portable...I told you my mental age is 16
