Richmond Area-recommended IPAs

    Visiting Richmond on work early next week. Can anyone give me recommendations for bottled/canned IPAs from this region that I can find/take home? Also, store recommendations would be appreciated too. Thanks!

    The Veil. They do can releases every Tuesday and can generally last a few days.

    Just about any IPA from The Answer, Triple Crossing, The Veil, and Final Gravity is going to be a winner for you. Triple Crossing and The Veil are the only ones of those above that do cans (16oz 4pk) but The Answer and Final Gravity does Crowlers. Other IPAs like that you can probably find...

    Three Notch'd Brewing - Minute Man
    Alewerks (Williamsburg) - Bitter Valentine and Bitterest Valentine
    Reaver Beach Brewing (Va Beach) - Hoptopus
    Green Flash - Palate Wrecker (their new facility in Va Beach brewed/bottled some)
    Hardywood - Tropication

    As for stores, I really like De Fles Wink (The Wink) in the West End of Richmond. Wegman's also has a great selection along with solid prices
